Lease Requirements Project: 1012724 - NEW SPACE REQUIREMENT - CRANBROOK, BC

This space requirement is for less than 5,000 sq. ft. and will be posted on this site for a minimum of one week. (Closes: 20-May-2026 17:00:00)

The requirement is for approximately 1,600 square feet of warehouse space located within Cranbrook, BC for the Ministry of Water, Land and Resource Stewardship (WLRS) - Wildlife Branch, BC Chronic Wasting Disease (CWD) Program. Reserved parking stalls are required for up to two (2) vehicles on site or within 305 m (1000 ft) of the Premises. The space may be in a single or multi-tenant occupancy building, ground level is required and the space must have barrier-free access.

Site-specific requirements include:
- Bathroom and laundry facilities for workers
- Water (hot/cold) for cleaning – ability to connect hoses
- Contained drainage – to be pumped out
- HVAC system
- Multiple electrical outlets for tools, laptops and freezers
- Bay door (preferred) – access for trucks and pumping truck
- Exterior space for dumpsters – access for GFL trucks.

Lease Term: Tenant is looking for a commencement date as soon as possible, for either:
- An initial five (5) year term, with one or more options to renew for additional five (5) year term(s); or
- An initial ten (10) year term, with one or more further renewal option(s), the length of which shall be specified in the Proposal.
Tenant will require the space for several months prior to occupancy to perform its fit-up.

Proposals shall be submitted by 5:00 PM PDT on Wednesday, May 20, 2026.

The Province reserves the right to negotiate any proposal and the lowest or any proposal will not necessarily be accepted.
