Public Sector Energy Conservation Agreement (PSECA)

Public buildings around the province will undergo energy assessments to identify opportunities to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and meet 65 per cent of incremental energy needs through conservation and the use of alternative energy options.

ISO 14001 Registered

ISO 14001:2004 since December 2000.

ARES' Environmental Management System (EMS) has been registered to ISO 14001:2004 since December 2000. The corporate-based EMS is registered through PricewaterhouseCoopers.

The scope of ARES’ EMS is the planning, provision and management of real estate and accommodation to mandated and voluntary government ministries, agencies and crown corporations throughout the province of British Columbia.
